Environment of use:

  • Used for signal transmission
  • Tested in a temperature chamber (Temperature range: from -40 °C to +85 °C)

  • Assembled with 0.5mm2 or smaller wires
  • Assembled with higher than 0.5mm2 wires
  • Assembled with twisted pair wire (e.g..: CAN; FlexRay;)

  • Connector(s)

  • DUT opposite side connector

Post-production tests:

  • Basic inspection (Visual and electrical inspection)
  • Micrograph crimp size measurement

Brief description of cable by the customer:

For control unit testing, the customer needed 30 cables, with thermal chamber use. The DUT-side connectors and related components were provided by the customer, the rest were purchased by ProDSP. Also crimp analysis had to be performed on the cable’s crimp before, during and after production for the customer's request, in order to ensure the perfect quality of production. It was also important that the connectors were leak-free, which we checked with a leakage test during production.
