#4 - AC voltage measurement

❓ Measuring AC voltage in an industrial environment? These are questions you can't ignore:

🔹 Is the signal periodic or stochastic?
→ Only in the former case does it make sense to calculate RMS or average values.

🔹 Is your instrument's bandwidth sufficient?
→ It should be at least ten times the signal frequency.

🔹 How are you routing the signal?
→ Are you using coaxial cables? Do you have proper shielding and impedance matching?

🔹 Are all channels referenced to the same point?
→ In multiplexed systems, this is critical to avoid measurement errors.

🔹 Is what you measure truly what the DUT is producing?
→ Poor signal routing, incorrect instrument selection, or faulty multiplexing = distorted results.

🛠️ If you’d rather not deal with all these technical details yourself, leave the measurement system design to us – ProDSP handles it all.
