#8 - Power Measurement in Industrial Environments
🔌 Power Measurement in Industrial Environments
In DC systems, calculating power is simple: P = U × I. But what about alternating current?
There, you also need to account for active and reactive power, multiple phases, and synchronous sampling.
📏 What to watch out for:
🔹 Use a Power Meter.
🔹 Power meters cannot be replaced by discrete current and voltage meters because
🔹 Signals must be sampled synchronously.
🔹 Ensure shielded signal routing for external sensors.
🔹 Multiplexing? The same logic applies as with voltage.
